Companion Journal Prompts: 2025 Personal Transformation
Spend 10-15 minutes each morning to reflect and journal on one of these following prompts this week.
Prompt 1: Reflect on Your Current State (10-15 minutes)
Take some time to think about where you are in life right now. Write down your answers to these questions:
• What areas of your life feel like they’re stuck in a rut? (e.g., faith, family, career, finances, personal growth)
• What emotions come up when you think about these areas? (e.g., frustration, disappointment, hope)
• What’s one thing you feel is missing in your life?
Prompt 2: Envision Your Ideal Life (10-15 minutes)
Let’s start thinking about where you want to go. Answer these questions:
• What does a successful life look like to you?
• How would you define success in your faith? In your family? In your career?
• What would need to change for you to feel fulfilled in each of these areas?
Prompt 3: Align with God’s Purpose (10-15 minutes)
As a Christian, your faith is the foundation of everything. Take time to reflect on these:
• What do you believe God is calling you to do in this season of your life?
• Is there a specific Scripture that speaks to where you are right now? (If not, consider meditating on Jeremiah 29:11.)
• How can you invite God into this journey to help guide and sustain you?
Prompt 4: Commit to the Journey (5 minutes)
This 26-week journey requires dedication and consistency. Write down your commitment:
• What will you do to stay consistent with listening to the episodes and taking action?
• How will you hold yourself accountable (e.g., journaling, sharing with a friend or spouse)?
• What’s one thing you’ll do today to prepare for this journey (e.g., set aside time, grab a journal, pray)?
Bonus Challenge:
Write a short prayer inviting God to guide you through this journey. Here’s an example:
“Father, I know I’ve felt stuck and unsure about what comes next. I ask for Your guidance as I step into this 26-week journey. Help me align my life with Your purpose, strengthen my faith, and bring harmony to my family and work. Give me the discipline to stay consistent and the courage to embrace the changes You want to make in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
