DeeAnna Heavilin created The Hungry Mommy blog in 2015 to share the recipes that helped her achieve a clean diet. Faced with an autoimmune disorder that brought on bouts of “brain fog,” diet change was one key factor in lifting the fog.
Busy moms face the same challenges DeAnna does with full schedules, ever-changing sleep schedules, and trying to get it all done. Who has time to eat in a healthy way when there is so much sugar-rich, high-in-sodium quick options available? DeeAnna shares tips on meal planning, ingredient choices, and other tips to help moms (and dads, and non-parentals) successful build a clean eating lifestyle.
Here’s the great thing. She prefers ingredients that aren’t so exotic. It’s the foods we commonly see in our grocery store that will make clean eating accessible for us according to The Hungry Mommy.
